Traveling to Costa Rica was such a refreshing and unforgettable experience. I had the chance to go with my best friend—who is also my sister—and her daughter, which made the trip even more special. There’s something about traveling with loved ones that makes every moment more meaningful.
We stayed at Homewood Suites in San José, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The space was clean, comfortable, and very spacious—perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. It set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
We even took some time to unwind at the hotel by taking a swim in the pool and relaxing poolside. It was the perfect way to recharge and enjoy some peaceful moments together.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting La Paz Waterfall Gardens. We took a guided tour where we saw breathtaking waterfalls and got up close to some amazing animals. The scenery was simply stunning—lush greenery, flowing waterfalls, and peaceful surroundings that made you feel completely connected to nature.
We also made time to visit two beautiful beaches, each offering its own unique vibe and beauty. The sound of the waves, the warm breeze, and the scenic views made those moments unforgettable.
Of course, no trip is complete without a little shopping! We stopped by City Mall, and to my surprise, I found a Payless store. I was so excited because Payless stores are no longer in the United States. I couldn’t resist—I had to grab a pair of shoes!
We also explored the city of San José, soaking in the culture and atmosphere. Every part of this trip felt special, from the adventures to the quiet moments.
Costa Rica is truly a beautiful place, full of life, nature, and warmth. I had such an amazing time, and I’m already looking forward to going back again very soon.
