You all know me — give me a creative project and I’m in my happy place. Candles and soaps have been my main loves for a while now, but lately… I’ve been cheating on them with a few new DIY flings.
First up: lotion-making. Yep, I’m out here mixing oils, butters, and scents like a skincare scientist who just had one too many cups of coffee. The best part? I get to make them smell exactly how I want and feel super luxurious. Honestly, I may never buy lotion from a store again.
And then… pottery happened. Ohhh pottery. Let me tell you, I think I might be in love. There’s just something magical about taking a lump of clay and coaxing it into a bowl, a mug, or… okay, sometimes just a lopsided “abstract art” piece. I’m still learning, but I can totally see myself getting so good at it that I start a pottery business. Imagine walking into my shop and seeing candles, soaps, lotions and handmade mugs to sip tea while your candle burns.
So yeah… I guess you could say my DIY life is expanding. Who knows what I’ll try next? But for now, it’s me, my candles, my lotions, my clay… and probably a lot of hand lotion for these pottery-drying hands.
